My name is Benae Aultman, I am a recent graduate of The University of Alabama and I am aspiring to continue a passion of mine. I am going to teach baton lessons in Huntsville, AL.
All through middle and high school I was actively involved in Oak Mountain’s majorette line. I partnered my extra curricular activities in school with baton classes through Struttin’ Showoffs; taught by Hollie Higgins. I participated in dance, twirl, and competition classes as well as competed in several events. What I have learned through Oak Mountain as well as Struttin’ Showoffs has made me a successful twirler and a stronger person. I feel that I could offer other young women the opportunities I have grown to love.
Twirling requires great dedication to be successful and teaches many life lessons. I cannot tell you how many times I have felt like giving up, decided to perservere and then nail the trick I thought was impossible. Young females need challenges and triumphs to build character. Baton Belles places a strong emphasis on developing self-esteem, character, poise, positive thinking and team work.
I am in Huntsville, AL and will start teaching baton this fall. As for now you can review the information about how the classes will be set up and feel free to email me with any questions at aultm007@gmail.com
Thank you for your time and interest.
Sincerely,
Benae Aultman

Baton Belles:
Baton Belles offers girls ages 5-18 an opportunity to learn how to twirl. Twirling is a combination of dance, footwork, body movement, and baton. The classes offer girls an opportunity to participate in a group dynamic with individual attention.
Group lessons will be offered weekly in terms of 6 months. Each week the girls will learn fundamentals, tricks, and choreography. At the end of each 6 months, a recital will be held, open for the parents to see their child’s progress. In addition, one class will be devoted to a parent observation day.
Baton Belles places a strong emphasis on developing self-esteem, character, poise, positive thinking and team work. Baton Belles is a class that teaches baton twirling but requires hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Each child will be given the fundamentals to succeed but extra practice is required.
Once students have completed their Beginner Level year and have perfected all skills within this level, they may move on to the Intermediate level where more challenging twirls and movement techniques will be introduced.
When students have completed their Intermediate Level year and have perfected all skills within this level, they may move on to the Advanced level where solo twirls and choreography techniques are emphasized.
Many colleges have twirling teams and Feature Twirlers. Scholarships are available through various twirling organizations - the Coach can supply twirlers with information when they are ready for college.
During the school year, we offer classes after school at local elementary schools
